Influencing Factors:

Analyzing Factors:
  • Engagement Levels at course broken down to default path vs. Group
  • Sentiment at course broken down to default path vs. Group
  • Time spent Levels at course broken down to default path vs. group
  • Timeline Activities
  • Grades vs. group
  • Outcomes
  • Depth of Understanding
  • Progress in the course vs. others in the group
  • Details of path taken and their corresponding elements (same as progress report)
  • Performance in assessments

Ideate

I started thinking about the entire structure of dashboard. Through team discussions and brainstorming sessions I came up with a concept where the Modules of the course itself became like a Map for the instructor to navigate across.

With this in mind, the dashboard went through multiple iterations.

The efforts put along with the inputs given by the team summed up into a concrete structure for a Dashboard.
Below are wire-frames of the same.

The project was part of my Summer Internship at Cogbooks (UX & Information Design Intern). The task was to create a Dashboard to identify students at risk from amongst those who have enrolled for a particular course from across the world.
